  1. Balmoral Castle is a residence of the British
  2. royal family in Scotland on the river Dee. 
  3. The castle was built of granite in the 
  4. Scottish baronial style, and is dominated by 
  5. a square tower and circular turret. It was 
  6. rebuilt in 1853 by Prince Albert, who bought 
  7. the estate in 1852.
